Tamriel's Spooky Season Returns

The Witches Festival in-game event begins next Thursday, October 20 at 10AM EDT, and runs until Wednesday, November 2 at 10AM EDT. During this spoopy spectacle, you can acquire unique event-specific rewards including Plunder Skulls, boosts to XP gains, Event Tickets, and more!

Follow these simple steps to take part in the frightening festivities:

1. Navigate to the Crown Store and acquire the free quest, "The Witchmother's Bargain."
1. You can also pick up this quest by speaking with the Crow Caller, located outside of each version of Olyve's Brewery in Stonefalls, Glenumbra, or Auridon.
2. Complete the introductory quest to receive the Witchmother's Whistle tool.
1. You don't need to acquire the Witchmother's Whistle if you completed the quest in previous years' events.
3. Use the whistle to receive a two-hour +100% XP buff and to summon the "Witchmother's Cauldron," which you can use to polymorph yourself into a suitably scary skeleton.
1. Note that you do not have to use the Witchmother's Cauldron to gain the XP buff, just the whistle. You cannot summon the Cauldron in Cyrodiil.

Become a monster during the Witches Festival

Gain Ghoulish Goodies

During the Witches Festival, when you defeat a boss monster, you pick up a Plunder Skull container in addition to your regular rewards, which contains some of the following items:

• A chance for one or more of following items:
• Witch-Tamed Bear Dog pet fragment
• Alchemy reagents
• A festival-themed furnishing recipe
• A festival-themed provisioning recipe
• A complete festival-themed furnishing
• A festival-themed treasure

• A chance for one of these items:
• A Hollowjack style item
• A Dremora style items
• A heap of gross creepy items:
• Worms, Crawlers, Guts, Insect Parts

Even better, each time you overcome a different type of boss for the first time that day, you'll receive a special Dremora Plunder Skull that contains the above items in addition to these:

• A Witches Festival Writ
• A Glenmoril treasure map or Glenmoril armor outfit style page
• A Grave Dancer weapon style page
• NEW Ghastly Visitation memento runebox

The different types of bosses include arena bosses, invasion bosses (from Dark Anchors, Harrowstorms, Volcanic vents, etc.), delve bosses, final dungeon bosses, public dungeon bosses, and world bosses. That's a lot of unique monsters to slay, but keep reading to see how you can collect even more repulsive rewards.

Collect creepy new event-specific rewards

During the Witches Festival, you can also acquire the daily quest titled "Plucking the Crow" by speaking with the Witchmother Taerma, located inside of Olyve's Brewery and at every Impresario tent found throughout Tamriel. The Crowborne Horror Dremora Plunder Skull is offered as a reward for completing this quest and provides a small chance to grant you a massive trove of tradeableWitches Festival goodies instead of regular Plunder Skull items, including:

• 10 Witch-Tamed Bear Dog fragments
• The FULL style book for the Dremora motif
• A folio of ALL Glenmoril treasure maps
• A Ghastly Visitation memento runebox
• A random Witchmother's Servant style page

Impresario & Event Tickets

Throughout the Witches Festival event, you can earn two Event Tickets from the first boss you defeat each day, allowing you to earn up to 28 tickets total. Just remember: You can hold up to 12 Event Tickets at any one time, so if you earn more while already at the ticket cap, you'll lose them!

The ESO community came together and unlocked six days of the Explorer's Celebration in-game event!

Community-Earned Event

The ESO community shut down a host of Volcanic Vents during the Heroes of High Isle event, so starting today, October 11 at 10AM EDT, and running until Monday, October 17 at 10AM EDT, you can enjoy the limited-time Explorer's Celebration in-game event!

During the event, you'll get bonuses when completing the following in-game activities:

• Increased drops from harvest nodes (this does not include fishing or creature drops such as leather)
• +100% XP gains from every source
• These bonuses stack with other XP boosts such as scrolls or group multipliers
• +100% gold earned from monster kills, quest rewards, and similar sources

These bonuses are available to all ESO players and in any zone in Tamriel (and some beyond it).

Note that the Explorer's Celebration doesn't grant Event Tickets and doesn't have its own unique quests, achievements, or collectibles associated with it. Nor is the Impresario available during this limited period.

This Explorer's Celebration is thanks to the hard work of the #ESOFam during the recent Heroes of High Isle event and its bonus challenge. Don't forget, if you own the High Isle Chapter, there's still time to claim your Heroes of High Isle rewards from the in-game Crown Store. Heroes of High Isle Event

The Heroes of High Isle in-game event also kicked off yesterday, and during the livestream the team revealed a bonus final reward: the Firesong DLC.

That's right! Should the community reach 100% in the Heroes of High Isle community challenge (reached by earning the High Isle Pathfinder achievement), they'll unlock the Firesong DLC for FREE for all High Isle owners. If you haven't already earned your Pathfinder achievement in game, now is the time to do it. Even better, the High Isle Chapter is currently on sale on all platforms—don't miss out!

Explore High Isle Together

The Heroes of High Isle in-game event kicks off this Thursday, September 29 at 10:00AM EDT, and runs until Tuesday, October 11 at 10:00AM EDT. During the event period, you can come together with your fellow players and work with them to unlock amazing rewards by earning the High Isle Pathfinder achievement.

To earn the Pathfinder achievement, gather an intrepid band of explorers (or go it solo) and explore High Isle by visiting all six of the unique striking locales in the zone. No, we won't tell you where these specific locations are, but your Achievements menu might have hints! In addition, all those who have already earned the High Isle Pathfinder achievement prior to this event can still contribute to the meter's progress. We'll update the meter on September 29 to immediately include all users who already completed this achievement.

Explore beautiful High Isle

Every day, we'll update the meter found on the Heroes of High Isle page with the community's progress. The more explorers who complete the Achievement, the quicker the community meter will fill up, increasing the rewards. Once the meter reaches 100% or the event reaches its end, we'll add the currently unlocked rewards to the Crown Store (in a single bundle) for ALL owners of the High Isle Chapter to claim for free!

Here's the rewards you can unlock at each stage:

During the event period, the first time you complete a daily quest in High Isle (or the Dreadsail Reef trial weekly quest instead) you receive a Society of the Steadfast's Largesse Coffer. This new reward box has a chance to contain some of the following items:

• Guaranteed chance for random crafting materials
• Guaranteed chance for a High Isle treasure
• Guaranteed chance for a style item for High Isle motifs
• Guaranteed chance for a High Isle overland set item
• Guaranteed chance for companion gear
• Ember or Isobel must be your active companion
•  Chance for one of the following:
• High Isle furnishings
• High Isle furnishing recipe

Unlock bonus rewards by questing and exploring

For each daily quest you complete after the first, you earn Society of the Steadfast's Munificence Coffers, which contain similar items but offers a smaller chance to contain the rarer rewards.

You can also acquire Society of the Steadfast's Munificence Coffers through the following methods:

• Dreadsail Reef non-final bosses
• Dreadsail Reef final boss
• Volcanic vents
• Basepop enemies

During the Heroes of High Isle event, you can earn up to two Event Tickets per day the first time you complete a High Isle zone daily quest. In total, you can collect 26 tickets by the end of the event. Just remember: You can hold up to 12 Event Tickets at any one time, so if you earn more while already at the ticket cap, you'll lose them!
